Product Using Existing Data

Bull's-Eye Broker can use your existing stock market data. This data must be text (ASCII) or Excel data. There are a number ways you can get your data into text or Excel file format:
1. It may already be supplied to you (on a daily basis) as text or Excel file data, or

2. It may be stored on your hard drive in text or Excel format.

3. You may need to perform an export operation from your existing stock market charting software.

If your data is already stored on your hard drive in text or Excel format (option 2 above) then you may be able to link Bull's-Eye Broker directly to your data (without needing to import it each time). For this to work each stock must be stored in a separate file and the filename must contain the stock symbol or name. For more information on linking to text or Excel data see Linking to Text or Excel Data.

If you data is provided to you on a daily basis, or if you are exporting it from another product (options 1 or 3 above) you will need to import it into Bull's-Eye Broker. See Importing Data into Bull's-Eye Broker.
