Product Using TC2000 Data

Using your TC2000 data is an excellent solution to Bull's-Eye Broker's data needs. When using a TC2000 database you can take advantage of TC2000's superior data maintenance capabilities.

Using your TC2000 data in Bull's-Eye Broker version 3.5 (or later) is easy. Simply follow the steps below:

  1. Download, install and run Bull's-Eye Broker.
  2. From the Data menu, select the Data Wizard.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

To use your existing TC2000 data with version 3 please follow the steps outlined below:

These steps only need to be performed once:

  1. Open TC2000.
  2. From the Databank menu select "Export to Text".
  3. From the "List to Export" list select "All Stocks" (from the top of the list).
  4. Make sure that the "Export Fields" list is empty. If not, click on the first item in the list and click the Remove button. Repeat this until all items have been removed from the list.
  5. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Symbol" and then press the Add button.
  6. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Company Name" and then press the Add button.
  7. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Date MM/DD/YYYY" and then press the Add button.
  8. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Open" and then press the Add button.
  9. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "High" and then press the Add button.
  10. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Low" and then press the Add button.
  11. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Close" and then press the Add button.
  12. From the "Available Data Fields" list click on "Volume" and then press the Add button.
  13. From the "Data Delimiter" list, ensure that "COMMA" is selected.
  14. Ensure the "Single File" option is selected.
  15. In the Name field enter "TCData.txt".
  16. Set the number of days to 1 (using the scroll bar). If you want to do a one-off dump of all the data in TC2000 you should update this setting appropriately.
  17. Set the "Export Path" and remember this location.
  18. Ensure the "Ascending" option is selected.
  19. Click on the Export button.
  20. Wait for the TC2000 export to complete.
  21. Open Bull's-Eye Broker.
  22. From the File menu select Import.
  23. Select the folder where the "TCData.txt" file can be found.
  24. From the "Available Files" list, double-click the "TCData.txt" file.
  25. From the "File Format" list select the "TC2000 Data" item.
  26. Click the Begin Import button.

These steps need to be performed daily:

  1. Open TC2000.
  2. From the Databank menu select "Export to Text".
  3. Click on the Export button.
  4. Open Bull's-Eye Broker.
  5. From the File menu select Import.
  6. From the "Available Files" list, double-click the "TCData.txt" file.
  7. Click the Begin Import button.
